The Columbus Dispatch's first poll in the Ohio Senate race shows Congressman Sherrod Brown beating Mike DeWine 35-31, while Dewine beats Hackett 32-31.

The Dispatch poll, despite its unusual methodology, is considered to be the most accurate poll in the state for candidate races.  

Tom Noe, the former Lucas County (Ohio) GOP chair at the center of Coingate, has just been indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of money laundering, in connection to his activities as a Bush-Cheney Pioneer.  He has been accused of laundering $45,500 in donations to the Bush-Cheney campaign coffers, using two dozen accomplices.
